Creating on the Potter's Wheel - Beginner and Beyond (10 weeks) at Arts & Industry Building, Florence, MA
Try
the potter's wheel for the first time or tackle a form you haven't
tried yet. Perhaps you're still learning to center or you want to
throw larger and improve you handles. This is a very
accommodating class with lots of demonstrations, individual instruction
and opportunities to focus on your specific goals. The emphasis
of the class will be on functional pottery using high-fired stoneware
and glazes. Ten weeks of classes offers time to explore bowls, mugs,
plates and other forms based on student's experience. Beginners
are welcome. Class size is limited to six students. Call to

Private Lessons, Florence, MA
Small classes, private lessons, and parent and child classes are offered at my studio in Florence, MA. Classes are open to beginner and intermediate students and are designed to encourage self expression in clay with a focus on wheel throwing techniques. Handbuilding, surface decoration, glazing and firing are also explored.
Private Lessons (2 hour class)
$50 per student / per class (includes material and firing fees)*
Available for adults or children (age 9 and up). Have classes
designed to your specific level and interests or complete a special
project you’ve been wanting to make. Day,

Date Night (2 hours)
$100 for two adults (includes materials and firing fees)
Available for two adults to have a fun night out playing with clay and
working on the wheel together. Good times guaranteed! Finished
pots will be delivered to you.
